Each sheet metal workshop also needs a sheet metal bending brake (plate-bending machine). Sheet metal bending is one of the basic tasks in sheet metal processing. A bending brake is a forming machine that is used to metal cold forming.

Sheet metal bending brakes – types

Depending on the type of drive, the following types are distinguished:

• Manual sheet metal bending brakes – they include simple machines for sheet metal bending at an acute angle as well as with various bending radii. They can be used in repair shops, fitter shops and especially in plumbing workshops.
• Hydraulic sheet metal bending brakes – they are used to bend various shapes of greater thicknesses.
• Electric sheet metal bending brakes – they are suitable especially for series production.
